Dear team,
On May 11, eight years ago, Dreamship was officially incorporated. To be honest, I am not sure of the exact founding day. Maybe it was the day Bill and I sat in a Starbucks in downtown San Francisco two months before that, both without jobs, just talking about building something good and meaningful. After 8 years, I feel proud that those ideas are still with us. We continue to hold our values of integrity, creativity, and directness. Everything we haveachieved comes from the effort of each of you.
Many of you have been here for more than 5 years. We have gone through many challenges together, and each one has taught us something. Building Dreamship has not always been easy. There were moments we were not sure, but we kept going. And today, we are still here, a bit stronger and more grounded. For those who joined more recently, you are now part of this journey, and what we do next will also be shaped by you. There are good days and difficult days, stressful times, and moments when we feel proud of what we have created. What makes it meaningful is that we go through all of it together.
I appreciate Dreamship and the Dreamship team. Working together for so many years means we share something deeper than just work. We share trust, values, curiosity, creativity, and the desire to build something better. In life, it is not easy to work with people who are smart, honest, and reliable, people who truly have your back, isn't it? Dreamship has given us challenges, but also pride, growth, and the freedom to create. And for me, every day still feels like many things ahead to explore.
