2020 Vision: A Note From the CEO

A note from Bill Bricker, Dreamship's co-founder and CEO.

“Launching a business is essentially an adventure in problem-solving.” Words shared by Richard Branson years ago and it’s never felt truer than it does right now.

Looking back on 2019, I almost can’t believe how much has happened. In our second year of business, we’ve grown from a team of 3 to 13. We went from 2 events in 2 cities to 10 events in 4 cities. We launched countless new features, 42 new products, unleashed unprecedented access to key technology partners...and that’s just the stuff you can see!

These are the things we mention in panels, announcements, and when we’re asked about Dreamship in general. We’re obviously incredibly proud of these numbers and stats, but we’re even more proud of how Dreamship’s mission and vision have grown.

We’re a purpose-driven company, paving our own path in this busy print-on-demand space. The extreme highs and lows of building a unique business are real. While our competitors remain focused on quick fixes and promos to attract sellers, we’ve made tough decisions to focus on quality and source ethical products. 

Why do we do it? We do it because Dreamship’s vision to restore trust between businesses, consumers, and the environment is bigger than our bottom line, bigger than our team, bigger than our community. We’re building a company that leads by example, and that starts from the inside out.

So how do we sum up 2019? It was challenging, rewarding, emotional, uplifting, and purposeful. You, our community, are core to this vision we’re working towards every day.

We have a lot planned for 2020, and it’s already starting. We’re growing in every way, so get ready!
